Farmer's Wife, Teacher and Mummy, blogging about agriculture, current affairs and product reviews.
I'm Anna, an English Teacher, Dairy Farmer's wife and Mummy to two little farmers. Our farm is one of the few remaining that bottles our own milk and delivers it to the door of 750 homes in a 5 mile radius of the farm. The men, my husband and father in law, have often completed the hours of a normal working day before they even start on the general farm jobs. I don't know how they do it and believe that they run on the fresh country air as it certainly isn't sleep!
When I'm not at work or planning and marking English books, I spend my days raising our son and being moral support for my husband and helping where I can, child allowing. I was born and raised on a dairy, sheep and beef farm, so while I feel completely at home in the milking parlour or feeding calves, the milk round is new territory for me and I'm not so keen on pounding the pavements in the early hours! Most people don't know that I am a fully qualified Beauty Therapist and used to own my own salon. I've lived a life of extremes!
Our baby farmer is obsessed with all things farm related and so we are sure that he will be eager to be part of the working team as soon as he can.
I hope you enjoy my blog and I'm happy to review products, food and events that may be relevant for us.
